Hello!

Thank you for being here, let me tell you a bit about Elena!

Originally from Milan, I arrived in Dublin in the late 1990s and I was privileged to experience the incredible transformation the Celtic Tiger economic boom brought to Ireland.

My Story

Since my arrival in Ireland, I always worked for multinationals, and in 2004 I was employed by Salesforce.com as part of the CSR European team. For the following 14 years, I managed Salesforce’s community & employee development programs all over EMEA and international development programs in East Africa and India, partnering with both local organisations and global networks.

In late 2019, I decided to set up Profit with Purpose to support companies interested in aligning business models to environmental and social goals. My experience in running corporate programs and working on the ground with charitable projects made me realise that a genuine collaboration between these two industries could be the catalyst to resolve the environmental, social and economic challenges the World is facing.

I am involved with a number of not-for-profits most notably as part of the Board of Directors with the South Dublin County Volunteer Centre, Ireland’s National Network for Volunteering (VI), which provides recruitment and placement services for volunteers as well as training facilities for not for profits. In 2015 I joined the SDCVC Board and have supported the development of the centre’s strategic direction and its governance structure.

I have a master’s degree in International Development from Maynooth University and a diploma in Environmental Studies, together with various certifications from the Wheel, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Common Purpose.

Elena’s top skills: Program Design, Impact Management, Employee Engagement, Circular Design, Sustainability Processes Development, Corporate Responsibility, Purpose-driven Strategic Thinking, Stakeholders Governance.
